This project featured sponsored professional athletes who tell stories of humility as a method of encouraging young athletes to follow their dreams. Transitioning to a director, Ulysses led a stage crew for two seasons on a three-camera woman lead topic-based talk show on PBS (The Whitney Reynolds Show) which consistently held the number one time slot in the Chicago market. In 2020, Ulysses graduated from the University of Southern California, completing a double major Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Visual Anthropology with a minor in Media and Social Change. Currently working towards graduate studies, Ulysses plans to teach cultural anthropology and visual arts, using fieldwork and filmmaking to celebrate stories of inclusivity, diversity, and cultural relativism.
